Akşan Yapı’s project, constructed with a light steel structure, consists of three-quarters green areas. It is the first and only sustainable residential project in Turkey to apply for BREEAM certification. Designed by the award-winning architect Mehmet Kütükçüoğlu, the project received the 2010 National Architecture Award. Located in Izmir, Turkey, 35th Street is a single 2 km-long street designed to host a population of 2000, resembling a town in the Aegean region.
